• Kvile is a self-service sauna based on trust in our guests.
  We rely on all visitors to follow our guidelines and instructions, which can be found on our website. Please read them carefully before your visit.
• Be considerate of neighbours and the surrounding environment.
• Before you leave the sauna, make sure it is tidy.
• Leave the sauna on time, and in the same condition you would like to find it.

There is a bathing jetty with a ladder in front of the apartments, right by the sauna. Swim with care and never swim alone.
All swimming is at your own risk.

Yes, the sauna has a simple changing room with clothes-hooks and a bench.

Make sure to read the guidelines and safety instructions on our website, and follow the routines for extinguishing and alerting.

• If there is excessive smoke from the stove due to incorrect lighting or similar, close the stove door and evacuate the sauna.
  Contact us so we can ventilate the smoke.
• If you notice overheating, smoke, or flames outside the stove – follow the safety procedures.

• Yes, there is water in the bucket inside the sauna.
  You can refill it from the containers outside the entrance.
• Use moderate amounts of fresh water, and only pour it on the stones to create a humid atmosphere.
• Pouring water directly on the stove or using other liquids may damage the sauna stove or crack the stones.
• We recommend bringing your own drinking water.

• Bring swimwear and a towel to sit on.
• Slippers and optionally a bathrobe if you're planning to take a dip in the sea.
• A personal speaker if you want to listen to music.
• Plenty of drinking water to stay hydrated.

We have set a limit of 5 people for drop-in bookings.
If you book the entire sauna, you may be up to 6 people.

• The code for the key box is sent by email to the person who made the booking, prior to the visit.
• The code is valid only during the booked time period.
• The key box is located next to the entrance door.
• Please remember to lock up and return the key to the box after your visit.

No, firewood is included in the price and is available in the sauna.
Using your own firewood is not allowed.

Kvile is a wood-fired sauna, and if the sauna is cold when you arrive, you’ll need to light the fire yourself.
Firewood and lighting instructions are available in the changing room.
Allow 20–30 minutes for the sauna to heat up.

If there was a booking before yours, the sauna will likely be warm when you arrive.

A guide to lighting the fire is posted in the changing room.
Improper lighting can make it difficult to get the sauna stove going.

No, there is a changing room, but currently no shower or toilet at the sauna.
The nearest toilet is at Color Line Stadium.
